Individual Therapy

Individual adult and young adult clients come to see me to help them work through many of life’s challenges including anxiety, depression and other adjustment difficulties or transitions. Coming from a Relational approach, I view the therapy process as a collaboration which happens once we build a trusting relationship where you feel comfortable bringing all aspects of yourself to therapy. Together, we work to identify and find ways for you to utilize specific personal strengths to create the change you are looking for in your life.

Understanding how your family history and major life events have impacted you and your relationships is an important component to the therapy process. I also feel strongly that engaging with my clients in a proactive way on building practical tools to deal with present day struggles is an essential part of making lasting changes. In my practice, I integrate a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), meditation, and relaxation techniques for stress reduction.
